Proč Google nemůže ignorovat prokliky administrátorů na vlastní reklamy?7.January
Nedělní ustrnulé odpoledne přineslo na řadě českých blogů opět několik článků více či méně zasahujících do výdělků na internetu, hlavně přes Google AdSense. V posledních týdnech je možné sledovat celkem zajímavou vlnu článků o AdSense – přestože o tomto programu píše kde kdo, poptávka je momentálně dost vysoká, takže téměř každý článek nalezne nějakého toho čtenáře a utrží několik komentářů.
Fil se na svém blogu v krátkém článku ptá, proč Google počítá kliky webmasterů na vlastní reklamy, když je zde možnost takové prokliky ignorovat.
Zajímala by mě jediná věc – proč Google vůbec počítá kliky webmasterů na vlastní reklamu? Proč je prostě neignoruje? Bylo by to jednodušší a bylo by s tím méně problémů pro velkého G i pro webmastery, kteří používají AdSense a náhodou se překliknou.
Podstata tohoto problému je poněkud hlubší – nelze tak snadno zařídit, aby Google kliknutí webmasterů na vlastní reklamy ignoroval. Jak totiž rozeznáte takového majitele reklamy? Ano, při logování do AdSense si Google ukládá vaší IP adresu, takže lze snadno dohledat všechny vaše IP adresy a časy přihlášení. Ale lze soudit, zda se jedná o majitele webu jenom podle IP adresy?
Těžko. Obrovské množství lidí má dneska totiž sdílené IP adresy. Všechny ty komunitní WiFi sítě, poskytovatelé připojení s neveřejnou IP adresou, síťové proxy servery a další případy – když to trošku přeženu, může mít například tisíc různých lidí sedících u tisíce různých počítačů jednu stejnou IP adresu. A kdyby Google přiřazoval vlastnictví účtu pouze podle tohoto faktoru a zobrazování reklam na konrétní IP adresu vypnul, mohli byste velice snadno přijít o slušné množství kliků.
Druhým problémem je také možnost přihlášení z více počítačů. Přestože se toto silně nedoporučuje, a měli byste se do administrace přihlašovat pokud možno z minimálního množství počítačů, nikdo vám nemůže zakázat zalogování z jednoho počítače doma, z jiného v práci a z třetího třeba u nějakého kamaráda, když se chcete pochlubit kolik vlastně vyděláváte. Postupem času ale Google pravděpodobně určí několik IP adres, ze kterých se připojujete pravidelněji a v případě kliknutí na reklamu vám žádnou odměnu nepřizná. V praxi to vypadá asi tak, že v reportech vidíte jedno kliknutí, ale žádnou odměnu. To může být ovšem i efekt nasazení CPM reklamy, kde se platí za počet zobrazení.
Prevence
Pro sledování počtu kliků a konkrétních IP adres můžete také využít povedený nástroj AdLogger. Tahle jednoduchá utilitka je vyvíjena jako open source, můžete si jí tedy stáhnout a používat úplně zadarmo. Pokud by se někdo pokusil o jakýsi útok hromadným klikáním na vaše reklamy, máte tak s pomocí AdLoggeru v ruce dokumentaci, s kterou pak můžete obstát proti případným pokusům o zablokování vašeho účtu. V případě, že si něčeho podobného Google nevšimne vám mohu akorát pogratulovat k vyšším výdělkům – za každé kliknutí samozřejmě dostáváte nějakou tu odměnu. O AdLoggeru chystám ještě samostatný článek.
Jestli tedy nechcete rychle přijít o svůj AdSense účet, vřele doporučuji na svoje reklamy neklikat. Ano, za jeden klik “omylem” vám nikdo hlavu neutrhne, ale když si kliknete na patnáct reklam za sebou, jste na velice dobré cestě k banu. Stejně tak nějaké pravidelné řekněmě jedno kliknutí ze stejné IP adresy za den je pouze otázkou času, než si na vás Google posvítí.
Z mé osobní zkušenosti doporučuji i při tom jediném kliknutí ihned napsat email na podporu AdSense a omluvit se. V tom horším případě na mail nedostanete žádnou odpověď a pokud se podobné excesy nebudou opakovat, mělo by všechno projít v pořádku. Podobný postup se doporučuje i v případě náhlého zvýšení počtu prokliků bez většího důvodu – rychlým upozorněním můžete snadno předejít možným komplikacím…

@Knedle: To ovšem Google nemůže vědět. Pokud tě zaujme reklama na tvých vlastních stránkách, máš použít třeba https://www.google.com/adsense/previewtool. Jakkoliv ti to přijde nelogické, je to prostě tak. Není to z mojí hlavy, přesně na tohle jsem se ptal přímo na podpoře AdSense.

@Šimon Grimmich: Nevím, jestli je to přehnané, ale já jsem tam skutečně napsal (ano, přemáčkl jsem se) a poděkovali mi a doplnili, že děkují, že jsem jim napsal a že “klikání na vlastní reklamu z jakéhokoli důvodu je zakázáno”.
Ono asi trochu záleží na tom, jestli ti na reklamu denně klikne průměrmě deset lidí nebo deset tisíc lidí, tam už se IMHO ten jeden vlastní klik ztratí trochu víc.

1) Nechápu, proč se omlouvat za to, že návštěvníci mého webu klikají na reklamu (jak tvrdí poslední věta). Adsense by přece mělo pochopit (resp. lidé, co za ním stojí), že někdy je den na návštěvníky bohatší, jindy chudší. Pokud se tedy objeví nějaký takový výkyv, bral bych to jako naprosto normální jev.

Podarilo se mi omylem dvakrat kliknout na vlastni reklamu, pokazde jsem napsal omluvu na adsense podporu a nedostal jsem zatim zadnou odpoved. Ale ve statistikach byly oba tyto kliky ohodnoceny jako jedine castkou 0$

Když mě na mých stánkách zaujme nějaká reklama, řeším to elegantní a legální cestou. Zavolám některého z členů domácnosti a ukáži mu reklamu se slovy “toto mě zaujalo” (pozor, nenabádám ke kliknutí, to by bylo porušení podmínek). Člen domácnosti se na reklamu podívá a řekne “to mě taky zaujalo” a klikne na reklamu. A je to, když to konfrontuji s pravidly adsense, nenacházím žádné rozpory.

My třeba rozdáváme odměny za přečtení článku a díky tomu, že provozovatel onoho systému byl benevolentní vůči případům jako ten váš (jeden PC v rodině), stává se nám díky české vyčůranosti bohužel několikrát do měsíce (kdy na to přijdeme, otázkou je kolikrát to ani neodhalíme), že se naše dobrota zneužívá a místo aby si náš článek přečetli 3 lidé z té jedné rodiny, přečte si ho jen jeden, ale odměnu si vezme za všechny 3

Párkrát už jsem si na svoji reklamu sám kliknul. Asi si na to budu dávat větší pozor, ale pokud se bavíme o 5 – 10 kliknutí za měsíc, tak si myslím, že to nemá cenu vůbec řešit.

Některé postupy Google jsem vždy považoval jako velmi tvrdé. Když ale čtu názory typu párkrát jsem si kliknul, tak svůj postoj musím změnit. Chudáci inzerenti, zvláště ti kteří platí za proklik desítky korun. Osobně bych sice preferoval, kdyby falešné kliky byly řešeny systémově, bez postihování publisheru, např. z 1 IP započítat max. 2 prokliky denně, z IP byť jedenkrát použité publišerem nepočítat nic.
Poznámka k rodině: je jedna dobrá zásada, nepřátelům ani přátelům se nikdy nechlubit weby, které vám vydělávají pomocí PPC. Adsense také není 2x rozumné umisťovat na stránky, které mohou vyvolávat negativní reakce, případně tam, kde by návštěvníci mohli pocítit touhu správci webu přispět na jeho provoz úmyslným, bezzájmovým klikáním na reklamu.
